Welcome to Amandou, a charming and atmospheric holiday home with a private swimming pool for 8 adults and 2 children in Provence. This authentic former apiary is located in a protected nature reserve, surrounded by vineyards and almond trees, on the edge of the idyllic town of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.
Interior: Cozy and full of atmosphere
This holiday home in the Vaucluse offers excellent value for money. The Provençal kitchen and characterful features create a warm, authentic ambiance, while sustainable materials and large windows add a modern and bright touch. The house has 4 comfortable bedrooms. The fourth bedroom is located in a separate studio in the garden and has its own bathroom, perfect for extra privacy. Air conditioning is unnecessary in this cozy holiday home.
Located at an altitude of 175 m, you’ll enjoy a pleasant breeze during the hot summer months, providing very natural and comfortable cooling.
Exterior: In the heart of Provence among vineyards and olive trees
There is a very nice garden with a beautiful private swimming pool (9 x 4.5 m, 1.6 m deep with steps in the pool, open from 01/04 to 30/09) surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. This holiday home for 10 guests in France is situated on the slope of a hill with panoramic views of Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne, 20 km away. There are three terraces where you can enjoy the sun at different times of the day: a delightful breakfast by the pool, relaxing in the afternoon by the pool or in the shade of the naturally covered terrace, and to end the day, an evening with a delicious plancha on the studio terrace overlooking the vineyards, where you can admire the beautiful sunset. The pétanque court with a bench, where you can enjoy an aperitif and a pleasant game in the evening, creates a wonderful Provençal atmosphere. The outdoor shower is heated by solar panels, which is perfect for the little ones. Shady parking.

Here you can enjoy complete tranquility in beautiful natural surroundings with panoramic views, while still being close to the town and many other attractions. The area is a paradise for cyclists and hikers. Don’t miss the Mont Ventoux for a cycling challenge or a casual visit. Thanks to the good location of this holiday home you can plan many trips: L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is the Venice of Provence because of the Sorgue that flows through this picturesque town with its beautiful old water wheels. World famous for its beautiful antique dealers and antique markets. Pernes-les-Fontaines is also nearby, only 4 km away, and is ideal for your daily shopping.
Practical information: For travelers with an electric car, there is a fast-charging station in the parking lot of Intermarché, 6 km away. The car can also be charged at the house via a regular power outlet (€30/week).
